New Delhi, July 31 (ANI): Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday urged all political parties to unite in the fight against terrorism and abstain from communal politics.
Singh said that the Narendra Modi-led NDA Government has a clear policy against terrorism, adding that the terrorists do not belong to any particular religion.
The Home Minister, who voiced his views on twitter, also hit out at the Congress and said the term ‘Hindu terrorism’ coined by the previous UPA government had ‘weakened’ the fight against the scourge by diverting the direction of probe into the incidents of terrorism.
Singh said that the grand old party was doing the same thing as the previous UPA government did in the Sharm-el Sheikh and Havana fiasco.
He alleged that the Congress Party was trying to divert the fight against terrorism.
Meanwhile, Congress Party alleged that the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at the Centre is the established spectacular lodestar of communal politics.
“Rajnath SIngh Ji, your party is the established spectacular lodestar of communal politics. Please stop misleading Indians and India. #jumla,” Congress spokesperson Sanjay Jha said in a tweet. (ANI)
