Patna , February 14: RJD Supremo Lalu Prasad today predicted that the NDA government headed by Nitish Kumar was on its way out in Bihar “having failed to fulfill the promises made in 2005 assembly elections.”
During Kumar’s regime the bureaucrats were ruling the roost having little respect to develop education, medical and infrastructure sectors, Prasad told reporters here.
“Go to the villages and see for yourself that education, health care and infrastructure development have been given go-by under the present dispensation,” Prasad said.
The former chief minister, who earlier welcomed the junior doctors of Patna Medical College and Hospital and Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital, Muzaffarpur to the party fold, criticised the state government for appointing doctors and technicians on contract basis.
