NCW seeks inquiry report from MDU on fake admit cards

Jhajjar (Har), May 07: The National Commission for Women has directed the Maharishi Dayanand University (MDU) to submit the findings of its inquiry into alleged issuance of fabricated exam admit cards by varsity officials and report the action taken against the erring staff.

The direction came on a complaint by Rashida Jamal who had charged the principal of Sanskriti Institute of Education and Technology, Narnaul, with causing mental agony and financial loss to her by issuing a fabricated admit card for Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd) exams.

She also demanded compensation of Rs one lakh from the college in her complaint that was sent to the National Commission for Minorities (NCM) as well.

MDU Registrar Satpal Vats said that the NCW had sought details of the case from the university.
