NCP spokesman Nawab Malik receives death threat

Mumbai: Senior NCP leader, former minister and national spokesman Nawab Malik told that an unknown person called him and issued a death threat. The death threat came after the conclusion of the debate on a news channel.

Nawab Malik complained the matter to the chief minister and home minister Devendra Fadnavis and also demanded security. He also informed the police department.

Nawab Malik took part in the debate on news channel over recent remark of film star Naseeruddin Shah and boldly put forth his views. Later he received death threat on phone.

Nawab Malik said it is being tried to suppress the voice against authoritarianism. If any untoward incident occurs chief minister Fadnavis will be responsible, he said.
