Patna, December 06: The Nationalist Congress Party today demanded that all the 68 persons indicted by the Liberhan Commission for demolition of Babri Masjid should be brought to justice.
NCP General Secretary, Tariq Anwar told reporters here that if action against guilty persons was not taken, people would lose faith in the rule of law.
He also demanded that the government should pass the Communal Violence (Prevention, Control and Rehabilitation of Victims) Bill in its present form soon.
On December 4, at a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, the Cabinet had approved the re-drafted Communal Violence (Prevention, Control and Rehabilitation of victims) bill for introduction in Parliament.
