The National Congress of Indian Christians (NCIC) & Various Christian ORganisations of all denominations strongly condemns the brutal gang rape & heinous murder of a B.Sc Nursing Student Ruth (Swapna) aged 19 years on February 14, 2013 night in Philadelphia Church at Darur Village, Vikarabad Mandal, Ranga Reddy District. The Christian Community is socked to this incident where Christian of all denomination are observing lent days.
The Ranga Reddy district police had utterly failed to nab the culprits after 4 days of the incident. We demand the Chief Minister to order a CB-CID enquiry in the above incident, where we had some suspects on anti-Christian fanatical groups behind this brutal incident.
To protest this indident NCIC & other Christian groups staged a silent candle light protest at Ambedkar statue at Liberty on February 17. The participants are C.A. Daniel Adams, President NCIC, Ravela Kishore Babu, IRTS Convenor, Ambedkar Foundation , Jerusalem Mettaiah, Convenor, Talangana Christian Samakya , D. Solomon Agni Jwala, G.S.
