NCHRO conducts Human Rights Workshop in Delhi

New Delhi: The National Confederation of Human Rights Organisations (NCHRO) conducted a one-day Human Rights Workshop here on Sunday.
Ajita, a Dalit Feminist inaugurated the workshop. Adv. A. Mohamed Yusuff, National Secretary of NCHRO presided over the training programme. Adv. Ansar Indori, Delhi Chapter General Secretary welcomed the gathering and moderated the workshop. Lectures on the different topics were delivered by the experts and activists.
Universal Declaration of Human Rights, (UDHR), and International Covenants were taken by Fawas Shaheen from Quill Foundation. Anil Parashar, former Joint Registrar of National Human Rights Commission, (NHRC), and Focal Point for Human Rights Defenders, (HRDs), delivered the lecture on Human Rights (Protection) Act, 1993 and Human Rights Commissions in India.
Lecture on the Constitution of India and Legal Defence was delivered by Adv. A. Mohamed Yusuff. Avinash Chanchal, Journalist, and Adv. Ansar Indori took the class about the Fact-Finding Modalities. The group discussion among the participants has also conducted about Fact Finding.
The concluding remarks were given by E.M. Abdul Rahman, National Executive Council member of Popular Front of India. Adv. Amit Srivastav, Delhi Chapter president of NCHRO proposed a vote of thanks.
The committee members and the activists from Uttar Pradesh (East), Uttar Pradesh (West), Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Delhi attended the workshop.
