Telangana home and labor minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy today said TRS government was taking all possible measures for the welfare of labors in the state.
Speaking at Southern labor ministers’ conference being held at Khairtabad here, Narasimha Reddy said it was happy that this conference was organized here. He said TRS government would extend all possible help to improve life conditions of the laborer. A new wage board would be set up to fix wages for labors, the minister said. A new I-pass policy adopted by TRS government would become milestone for industries in the state, Reddy said.
The minister further stated that Telangana state was first in implementing welfare schemes in the state and it was proceeding towards achieving Bangaru Telangana.
Speaking on the occasion, Union minister for labor and employment Bandaru Dattatreya said the central government has taken up various schemes for the welfare of the labor in the country.
Dattatreya appreciated the efforts of TRS government for the welfare of this sector in the state. “Smart cards” would be distributed to the welfare under Shrameya jayate scheme, he said. (NSS)
