Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy said that the State Government has ensured friendly relationship between the police and general public.
Speaking after inaugurating the job mela organised by North Zone Police at Railway High School in Lalaguda of Secunderabad on Sunday, the Home Minister said people used to fear police during the united Andhra Pradesh. However, by taking initiatives like Friendly Policing, the fear and apprehensions related to police among people were cleared. He said besides maintaining law and order, the police is taking up several initiatives to help the people.
The Home Minister praised the North Zone Police for organising the job mela and said that such moves would help in eradication of unemployment and poverty.
Nearly 80 leading companies took part in the job mela which witnessed the participation of nearly 4,000 aspirants. (INN)
