Nayani fumes at Kodandaram’s jibe on KCR

Even as the entire Cabinet has launched a blitzkrieg against TJAC Chairman Prof. M. Kodandaram for his alleged remarks against Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to step down, Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy today lashed out at the former for making what he called ‘mindless’ comments.

Addressing the media along with Deputy Chief Minister Mahamood Ali at Secretariat here on Tuesday, Narsihma Reddy in his usual typical clingy and yet baritone voice, took on Kodandaram and demanded him to withdraw his comments belittling the Chief Minister. “Is he not aware KCR was toiling day and night for the welfare of SC, ST, BC and Minorities in the State by spending a whopping Rs 35,000 crore in the State”?, he asked. The Home Minister also sought to know with whose support the professor was attacking the TRS Government, which was giving top priority for Golden Telangana.

He also ridiculed Kodandaram saying why should the Chief Minister step down, who was ought to make Hyderabad a global city as the international companies roping in with investments. With a stoic reference to the professor’s comments that suicides by the farmers did not stop, Nayani said Mission Kakatiya is aimed at checking the problem by irrigating crops to a great extent while Mission Bhagiratha is for supplying safe waters to every household.
