Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy today exhorted the police personnel to update their skills to tackle criminals, who were using latest technology to commit crimes.
Speaking after reviewing the passing-out parade of 735 stipendiary cadet trainee women constables at the Rao Bahadur Venkatram Reddy Telangana State Police Academy here, Nayani said, “It was the responsibility of the police to update their knowledge in tune with the changing scenario and discharge their duties.”
The Home Minister said the State government was providing necessary infrastructure to the police to help them maintain law and order effectively. Referring to the safety and security of the women, he said the government introduced She Teams to take action against those who are harassing women. (NSS)
