Naxal literature seized

Kareemnagar, November 17: A four-member police team, comprising two CIs and SIs led by Jagityal DSP MA Bhari, which raided the house of Hemachandra Pande in New Delhi with the help of local police four days ago seized several important documents.

Hemachandra Pande used to live in flat no A-96 (second floor) at Sastrinagar in New Delhi.

It may be noted that he was killed in an encounter with police along with Maoist leader Cherukuri Rajkumar Anand in July this year.

Apart from revolutionary literature, the police seized night vision gogles, imported binoculars each costing around `2 lakh, documents pertaining to three plenaries of the Maoist Central Committee, Hemachandra Pande’s letters written to advocates seeking legal opinion on various issues, a laptop, computer, scanner, printer, 120 CDs, pen drive, USB port connected to external hard disk were among those seized by the police team.
