Mumbai : Breaking silence over the FIR registered against him for allegedly assaulting a woman over a parking dispute, Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui said that the whole incident was planned against him.
“I just want to say that it was an unfortunate incident and this was all planned against me,” the 41-year-old actor told the media here.
In her complaint, the woman pointed out that the ‘ Manjhi: The Mountain Man’ star had refused to accept a notice sent earlier by the society’s chairman and secretary to the members over parking space-related complaints. In this regard, the ‘ Badlapur’ actor said that he never saw the complainant in the society before.
“I don’t know who this complainant Heena Sheikh is, I have never seen her in the society,” he said, adding “If you carefully look at the notice they (complainants) had shown, it wasn’t signed by any of the society’s members.”
According to media reports, Siddiqui was served a notice by his housing society authorities. He was asked not to park his car at the place, which is given for the two-wheeler parking.
A heated argument began when the 24-year-old woman reportedly found Siddiqui’s car at the two wheeler parking and filed a complaint against the actor.
The police quoted the complainant as saying that during the argument, the actor allegedly slapped her. (ANI)
