Nava Bharath Party Launched

On the occasion of 66th Independence Day, a new political party titled as “Nava Bharath Party” came into being on Wednesday to educate people about their rights, duties and responsibilities.

Releasing the party flag, party president M. Kalyana Rama Krishna has said that the party would work for providing security from the baby in mother’s womb to final rites of a dead person. He said that the party was committed to work for all religions, castes, classes, regions and all parts and sections of the society. He said the party would give chance to one and all and has already given 35 per cent reservations for women in the party.

Rama Krishna alleged that the Centre and the State governments were neglecting the poor since the last 65 years. He also alleged that corporate companies were exploiting people with help of political leaders in the country. He also lashed out at the Union and State governments for not constructing pucca house to every family in the country.

He said that the party would constitute ‘Secular Taskforce’ to identify people’s problems and bring them to the notice of the government. He demanded that the State government introduce ‘Accountability and Duties, Functioning of Members of Legislative Assembly Bill’ and pass it in the ensuing Assembly session. He also demanded that the MLAs and MPs should be disqualified from their posts if they failed to submit a monthly development report of the Assembly and Parliament Constituency development to the Speakers every month. Stating that they would field candidates in all the Assembly constituencies in the State in the 2014 general elections, he said that they would announce the party agenda shortly. He also said that party office-bearers would announce shortly.

Party leaders Arun, Ramu, Vasanth, Hemanth, Vijay, Pavani, Anita and Padma were also present. (NSS)
