NATO chief to visit Turkey for coordination talks

Brussels, April 02: NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen will travel to Turkey on Monday.

He will meet with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Foreign Affairs Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and Defense Minister Vecdi Gonul, NATO announced in a brief statement.

Talks between the two sides are expected to focus on Libya where NATO has taken over full command of military operations.
Turkey, a NATO member, is contributing to the operations in Libya with seven fighter planes and six ships.
