Central government has decided to conduct NTSE state level or 1st level exam only for 10th class students from the current year, contrary to earlier NTSE which held VIII class students eligible for the exam. The test will be conducted on Sunday, November 18, 2012, from 10 am to 1 pm, in Telugu, Hindi, Urdu and English media.
Students studying in any recognized school, including Kendriya Vidyalaya and schools affiliated to ICSE and CBSE New Delhi, can appear for the exam.
In a press notification DEO has told that VIII class students will not be eligible for the exam. The last date for the NTSE state level or 1st level exam will be 31st August 2012 by the candidates.
