National Legal Services chairman has directed the Legal Services functionaries to convene National Lok Adalats throughout the country on by-monthly basis and the first National Lok Adalat this year will be held on February 10 to cut short the long pending cases with a Motto not only to reduce the burden on the courts, but also to provide immediate relief to the litigant public.
As per the directions the the Acting Chief Justice of High Court and Patron-in-Chief of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh State Legal Services Authorities, Executive Chairman, Telangana State Legal Services Authority, Member Secretaries of both the States, convened a meeting today with the State level officers of Insurance Companies and Bank Officials in the Conference Hall of State Legal Services Authority, Hyderabad to chalk out the feasibility of settling more number of cases pertaining to Motor Accident Claims and Bank Cases pending on the file of various courts in the State of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Secretary City Civil Court Legal Services Authority, also attended the meeting.
In this connection, Legal Services Authority appealed to the claimant public in Motor Accident Claim cases and Bank Cases and whose cases are pending on the file of various Courts, to participate in the ensuring National Lok Adalat on February 10 and get speedy justice and immediate relief by getting their matters settled before National Lok Adalat and get benefit of refund of Court Fee already paid in pending cases.
