(Siasat News)From this academic year there will be no EAMCET for the admission in MBBS and BDS, student need to appear national level exam for the admission, though the seats of the Andhra Pradesh will be allotted to the student of the State and the counselling will be conducted by the NTR university.
Even thought Govt. tried for EAMCET one more year, but NEET is finalized. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct it, however the question paper will be both in Hindi and Telugu to facilitate student of different medium.
There will be no change in the admission process but the test centers will be only in Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Vizag and Tirupati.
CBSE agreed to release a state-wise merit list so that NTR University of Health Sciences can conduct counselling for admissions as usual by implementing reservations for students belonging to BC, SC, ST, minority, PHC and special category students
Venugopala Rao, registrar of NTR University of Health Sciences who was also in the meeting conducted by the CBSE in Delhi said that NEET notification will be issued in December and examination will be on May 12, 2013.
