Hyderabad: A national conference entitled “Understanding Equal Opportunity – Concepts and Practice” will be organised on January 16, in Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU). The one day conference is being organised by Equal Opportunity Cell and Civil Services Examination Residential Coaching Academy of Maulana Azad National Urdu University in collaboration with the Department of Women Education, Al-Beruni Centre for the Study of Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy and Department of Social Work.
Inaugural session will be held on January 16, from 9 am, at CSE auditorium, MANUU campus.
Eminent scholars and administrators including P S Krishnan, G Sudhir, BL Mungekar, Faizan Mustafa, Abusaleh Shariff, Sheela Prasad, Sangeeta Kamat and Abdul Shaban, Flavia Agnes, Sangeeta Kamat, Shahida Murtuza, Afroz Aalam and will address the conference.
Gender equality, women’s right, marriage and divorce, reservations and other legal issues will be discussed during the conference.
