Hyderabad, January 7: All India Federation of Women Lawyers is organizing a two-day National Conference of Women Lawyers on January 8 and 9 at Global Peace Auditorium, Shanti Sarovar, Brahma Kumaris, Guchibowli here.
In a press note, the federation chairperson Ms M. Bhaskara Lakshmi stated that the conference is being hosted by Federation of Women Lawyers of Andhra Pradesh. The state is hosting the conference after 35 years.
She stated that subjects like Law and Rights of children, March of Law and empowerment of women and functioning of family disputes resolution system will be discussed in the seminar.
Several dignitaries are coming for the conference, such as Lok Sabha Speaker Ms Meira Kumar, Governor Mr E.S.L. Narasimhan, Chief Minister Mr N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, Supreme Court Judges Justice Altamas Kabir and Mrs Justice Gyansudha Mishra.
About 800 delegates from all over the country have registered their names for the conference as delegates.
