The Congress Party on Sunday took a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that the country is fed up with his ‘Mann ki Baat’ programme.
“You (Modi ji) have done a lot of Mann ki Baat and the country has now become fed up with it. You should talk about some work and try to fulfill the promises you made during the elections,” Congress leader Pramod Tiwari told ANI.
“The problem of unemployment and violence will not be solved with Mann ki Baat and ‘Achhe Din’ will also not be a possibility. The ‘Achhe Din’ will come only with work which your government is not doing,” he added.
The Congress Party had earlier termed Prime Minister ‘Mann ki Baat’ as an advertisement, and said that it was a misuse of government machinery.
Prime Minister Modi will share his thoughts with the nation through the 16th edition of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ today.
In earlier episodes, Prime Minister Modi had shared his thoughts on a range of issues including drug addiction, farmers problems, menace of corruption, declining sex ratio and high rate of casualties in road accidents.
