New Delhi: The National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) announced the nomination of the 12th edition of Emerge 50 awards, India’s most prestigious and prominent awards in the Software Product Industry. Each year, the NASSCOM Emerge 50 awards acknowledge India’s most innovative and emerging software product companies who have the potential to become future leaders. The 12th edition of the awards is set to be bigger and bolder with India’s product landscape now exceeding the limit of software and finding synergies in hardware and other bodies of science. The virtual award ceremony is scheduled for November 5.
With Zinnov as the knowledge partner, this year the award categories are aligned to reflect and capture the current business transformational areas. The nomination categories are FinTech, Health Tech, Retail Tech, Logistics and Supply Chain, SaaS, Enterprise, Bharat, IoT Hardware and devices, Strategic sector & Cybersecurity.
Emerge 50 awards have grown exponentially since its inception in 2009. The awards have been successful in identifying the right pool of companies that have continuously matured since the time of winning. A recent analysis of these companies has confirmed that out of 525 unique winners, more than 395 are still active and more than 85 companies have made successful exits. These leagues of companies have raised a total of $2.6 Billion equity funding post winning the awards. The league has so far witnessed the emergence of two unicorns – Druva and Freshworks and have about six in making namely Innovacer, RazorPay, Vedantu, Uniphore, Capillary and Whatfix.

Minister for MA&UD .K.Taraka Rama Rao said, “To reduce the traffic intensity on main roads, about 137 missing link roads are being developed in the city. This will also reduces travel time as well as pollution. With the Construction of a RUB, the traffic plying between Sanathnagar, Narsapur X roads and Jeedimetla will be a great relief to them. Further, he instructed the HRDCL officials to complete it at the earliest and the Balanagar Flyover works going on at a brisk pace and it would be inaugurated in few months, he added.
Minister for Animal Husbandary, Fisheries and Cinematography T.Srinivas Yadav, said for the development of Sanathnagar Constituency, Minister is giving much importance by sanctioning reservoir for Sanathnagar. Similarly, indoor stadium works have been completed and are ready for inauguration.
The Balkampet graveyard is being developed on par with Mahaprasthanam. White tapping roads also laid in the constituency and thanked for sanctioning RUB and ROB on behalf of the constituency people. Even in the pandemic situation while in other parts of the world is busy with tackling COVID-19, the developmental work in Hyderabad is moving at a rapid pace.
