Karachi: Naseeruddin Shah has been one of those very few actors, who have consistently portrayed their shades of characters both in mainstream masala and parallel movies, depicting realism both nationally and internationally.
The upcoming Paksitani flick will be satirising media’s obsession with the ratings, reports the Express Tribune.
Directed by Gaur and Farjad Nabi, the movie titled ‘Jeewan Hathi’ will be a black comedy, centering the media and manufactured realities.
Unlike the director duo’s last venture, ‘Zinda Bhaag,’ which had a host of newcomers, they have this time taken some of the most famous artists from both sides of the border on board.
Falling under the umbrella of Zeal For Unity, ‘Jeewan Haathi’ is part of a cultural collaboration, which brings together 12 Pakistani and Indian film-makers, six from each side.
Other than Naseeruddin Shah, this movie has experienced performers like Samiya Mumtaz and Hina Dilpazeer. (ANI)
