Narendra Modi should detained, demands Didi

Mamata Banerjee Chief Minister of West Bengal on Monday sought the arrest of Narendra Modi, accusing him of seeking votes in the name of religion.

This statement came a day after Modi told a rally in West Bengal that Bangladeshi infiltrators allowed in India for “votebank politics” would have to go back to their old ways while the refugees thrown out of Bangladesh on religious grounds would be greeted with open arms.

“The person who is talking about racial riots, he has no right to become the prime minister. This is a violation of model code of conduct. Instead, he should be sent to jail with ropes tied to his waist. He should be arrested,” Banerjee told a rally in Bongaon city that borders Bangladesh.
