Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit on Monday blamed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for ceasefire violations being committed by Pakistan.
The problems have increased from the time Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken over. A failed Prime Minister, a failed Foreign Secretary and a completely failed National Security Advisor in terms of Pakistan policy have led to this absolutely dangerous situation with Pakistan.
He lashed out at the Bharatiya Janata Party for coming out with confidential files that only it favoured them.
There is nothing in these files that will give anything substantially different to what the people already know. This is also one of the reasons why Parliament has neither leaked those files, nor published them, he added.
Congress leader Manish Tewari said that the NDA Government at the Centre has no policy on Islamabad.
“The question to the Prime Minister is that there is provocation after provocation from Pakistan. How do you intend to respond to it, Do you intend to respond to it by collecting a few thousand Indians in some capital abroad and chest thumping or do you have a policy towards Pakistan,” asked Congress leader Manish Tewari.
Over the past one year, ever since this government has come into office, the activity on the Line of Control and the international border, which has resulted in numerous civilian casualties and deaths have been unceasing, he added.
