Narayana threatens to break open LB stadium gates

Demanding that the officials of Sports Authority of Telangana State render justice to car decor owners and their workers by opening the outer gates of the LB Stadium and Indoor Stadium immediately, CPI national secretary Dr K Narayana has warned the Sports Authority of Telangana State that they would destroy the gates if the authorities failed to open the gates.

Narayana, accompanied by car decors owners, examined the closed gates of LB Stadium on Tuesday. They also met Sports Authority of Telangana State deputy collector Chandravathi and explained the problems being faced by car decors. The CPI leader asked Chandravathi to settle the issues like rent arrears and parking problems with deliberations.

Narayana said closing outer gates was nothing but affecting the livelihood of car decor shop owners and the labourers working in the shops. He also said it was not correct on the part of officials to give all permissions and subsidies to the Fateh Maidan Club, in which the big sharks take rest and harassing petty car decor shops owners.

The CPI leader warned that they would break open the locks in case the officials failed to open the outer gates within a week. LB Stadium Shops Tenants Welfare Association leaders Sayyed Saleemuddin, Muthyam Reddy, Sathyanarayana and others participated in the program along with Hyderabad City CPI secretary E T Narasimha.
