Upset over not getting a chance of becoming Rajya Sabha member, TDP senior leader and former minister Mothkupalli Narasimhulu was seething with anger.
Sources close to him said Narasimhulu, who hails from Telangana region, was considering whether to continue in the party or not. But, the TDP senior leaders have been trying to dissuade him from taking any hasty decision. Narasimhulu was expecting his nomination to Rajya Sabha by party supremo Chandrababu Naidu. Meanwhile, TDP Telangana Forum leader Erraballi Dayakar Rao was trying to placate Narasimhulu, who worked hard to take message of the party on Telangana issue to the people.
It was said Narasimhulu shared his agony with Erraballi for not getting a chance to get elected to the Rajya Sabha. He reported to have express his anguish that only contractors and sycophants were being nominated to the upper house. He wanted to share his heartburning with the media. But Erraballi, Khammam MP Nama Nageshwar Rao and others went to his residence and were trying to pacify him.
Meanwhile the two TDP candidates — Garikapati Mohan Rao and Tota Sitaramalakshmi — today filed their nominations for Rajya Sabha seat. Earlier, they visited NTR ghat and paid tributes before filling their nominations. (NSS)
