Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan said that the Chief Ministers of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, K. Chandrashekar Rao and N. Chandrababu Naidu, have been working satisfactorily.
Speaking to media persons after meeting Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Union Home Secretary in New Delhi on Tuesday, the Governor described his visit to the national capital as routine. He said both the Chief Ministers have been working for the welfare of people. He said if both the States maintain same pace, then both AP and Telangana would witness rapid growth and development.
The Governor said steps would be taken to implement the promises made with both the States at the time of bifurcation under AP Reorganisation Act. (INN)
