Naqvi urges youths to unite against terrorism

New Delhi: Exhorting youths to unite against terrorism, Minority Affairs Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Thursday said that “bankrupt shops of terrorism” are to be destroyed to stop “evil business of bloodshed” across the world.

“The youths should always remain alert against such evil forces who are the biggest enemies of religion, humanity and the entire world. These forces have nothing to do with any religion,” the minister said while addressing a conference of minority youths here.

He said that the youth of the country will defeat the evil forces who have been involved in terror activities and misguiding them in the name of religion.

“Terror groups such as IS and Al-Qaeda have not been able to establish their roots in India and credit for this goes to the society, especially the youth. But we have to be alert in future also,” he added.

Speaking about the Kashmir turmoil, Naqvi said the situation in Kashmir will become normal soon.

“No country or force will be able to harm India. Such forces will be dealt with strictly,” he said.

Touching upon the government schemes, the minister said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government has been working for socio-economic and educational empowerment of every section of the society.

The past two years of the Modi government have been the “years of development”, the minister added.

The conference was organised by the Delhi unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
