State government today distributed Rs 10 lakh cheques each to the kin of 11 deceased in a building collapse incident at Nanakramguda on Dec 8. Home Minister Nayini Narsimha Reddy distributed the cheques to the family members at Secretariat here along with ministers KT Rama Rao, Padma Rao Goud, Mayor B Rammohan here on Monday. Speaking on the occasion he said that Chief Minister directed to provide financial assistance to the kin and all help. The government will take steps to prevent illegal structures and action against the builders or others for failing to adopt standards he said. (NSS)
