Nampally court issues summons to Mahesh Babu

Hyderabad: Nampally Court has issued summons to Mahesh Babu and the entire movie unit of Srimanthudu to present before the Court. As the case filed by Sharath Chandra a novelist for alleged plagiarism of his story-line.
Sharath Chandra, claimed that they copied the story of Srimanthudu from his novel ‘Chachenta Prema’ which is based on the true story and was published in the year 2012. The court has served the notice to Mahesh & Srimanthudu team and the case has been filed under the section of IPC 120B and section 63 of copyrights act.

Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu was released on 7th August 2015, and the actor has received a great acclamation from the audiences, celebrities, and politicians. The movie turned out to be a biggest grosser in the career of  Mahesh Babu.

The story completely revolved around adopting villages and developing them into smart cities by providing full facilities to rural people.
