The Chief Justice of Andhra Pradesh, under Section 30 of AP Reorganisation Act of 2014, has notified the change of the name of the High Court as High of Judicature at Hyderabad for the State of Telangana and the State of Andhra Pradesh with effect from June 2, 2014, according to a pressnote issued by the Registrar General of the High Court.
