Telangana student shot dead by gangsters in Noida

A degree student Ramaraju Sandesh, 19, of Srinagar colony of Nalgonda town was reportedly shot dead by some unidentified persons in Noida in Uttar Pradesh.

           

According to the information, the boy was doing B.Sc in Marine Science in Amity University in Noida. A lecturer of the University called the boy’s father Sundar Rao, a bank employee, on telephone this morning and conveyed the tragic information. Shocked by the news, the parents Sandesh left for Noida immediately. A pall of gloom descended on Srinagar Colony with the receipt of the tragic news. The near and dear of the family were seen crying inconsolably. The residents of the town made a beeline to the victim’s house.

           

According to the Noida police, Ramaraju Sandesh was gunned down by some strangers around 3.30 pm in his rented flat in Sector 100 of Noida on Saturday evening. It is said the culprits rang the door bell and when the boy opened the door, the miscreants strayed bullets and fled. The police said the boy was residing in the flat along with two friends, who claimed they heard Sandesh screaming “Aman, don’t kill me”.

           

The police registered a murder case against “unidentified Aman” and his accomplice. The body with multiple wounds sent for post mortem. (NSS)
