India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heat wave warning for next two days for Telangana State. It said heat wave conditions are very likely to prevail over some parts of Hyderabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Ranga Reddy, Khammam and Nalgonda districts in Telangana.
There will be appreciable rise in maximum temperatures at one or two places over Telangana. They were appreciably above normal at many places over Telangana. The highest maximum temperature of 44 degrees Celsius was recorded at Nalgonda and Ramagundam.
According to IMD report, dry weather is likely to prevail over Telangana State during next five days. Most places in Telangana State are likely to record maximum temperature between 40 and 45 degrees Celsius. The temperatures recorded in several places in Telangana are: Adilabad (42 degrees centigrade), Bhadrachalam (43), Hakimpet (39), Hanamkonda (41), Hyderabad (41), Khammam (42), Mahbubnagar (42), Medak (42), Nalgonda (44), Nizamabad (43) Ramagundam (44degrees Celsius).
