Hyderabad: Union Minister for Minorities Affairs, Dr. Najma Heptullah assured Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Dy. CM of Telangana that the Central Govt. will extend all its cooperation for the implementation of maximum welfare schemes for the development of Minorities in Telangana State since a large number of Minorities exists in this state and the TRS Govt. is sincere about implementing welfare schemes for Minorities. She applauded the implementation of new welfare schemes for Minorities in the State and hoped that it will definitely improve the Status of Minorities.
Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali apprised her of the welfare schemes launched by Govt. of Telangana and requested the Central Govt. to provide maximum possible funds for them. He referred to Central Scholarship scheme and pointed out that thousands of students are deprived of getting these scholarships due to the quota allotted for this state.
