The proposed meeting of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday has been postponed.
The Prime Minister’s Office has sent a letter to Naidu informing that his scheduled meeting with Modi has been cancelled. He has been asked to suggest any of the dates from 25th, 28th, 29th or 31st August to meet the Prime Minister.
It may be mentioned that Naidu had sought the appointment with the Prime Minister to press for the demand for Special Status for Andhra Pradesh. He was also to discuss other issues including the construction of AP’s new capital Amravati. (INN)
