Naidu will walk into Kurnool on oct. 14

“Vastunna Mee Kosam” padayatra by TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu will enter Kurnool district on October 14, according to party district president Somisetty Venkateswarlu and senior leader V. Rambhupal Choudary.

The TDP president is scheduled to spend a week walking from Chippagiri to Sunkesula covering Aluru, Aspari, Yemmiganur, Yerrakota, Gonegandla, H. Khairavadi and Kodumur. Naidu will cover about 130 km in Kurnool. The TDP leaders are confident that success of Naidu’s padayatra would galvanise into a volcanic wave in favour of the party in view of the anti-Ccongress wave prevailing in State.

Venkateswarlu said the district unit would undertake awareness campaign to bring all problems to the notice of Naidu so that he could exert pressure on the government for a policy change. Power supply system, which is in a shambles in the rural as well as urban areas, will dominate the tour. The issues of farmers, weavers, sand shortage and a myriad of problems will be highlighted during the program.

Talking to the media Venkateswarlu and Rambhupal Choudary said the farmers and general public were suffering very badly on account of erratic power supply. Artisans lost their employment due to faulty power supply in urban areas. Villages and towns were groping in the darkness, they added. (NSS)
