Naidu wants one in every family to become IT Industrialist

AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu here on Monday exhorted IT students to come forward with new ideas and create wonders by utilizing the available technology and contribute in transforming the residual State into Swarnandhra Pradesh.

The Chief Minister inaugurated Sunrise Technology Research and Incubation Park in the IT SEZ in Madhurawada by unveiling a pylon. Later, Chandrababu Naidu participated in a face-to-face program with Gitam University students and Vizag Entrepreneurs Group.

Speaking on the occasion, Chandrababu Naidu wished at least one person in every family should acquire computer knowledge and become an entrepreneur. Stating that youth can render laudable service to the nation with use of technology and creativity, the Chief Minister cited the example of Mohan Rao, who emerged as a big IT businessman from humble beginning provided employment to thousands of youth by establishing an IT company in Madhurawada. He also reiterated that his government was ever ready to provide all facilities to the IT Sector and formulated a wonderful IT Policy in this regard.

Chandrababu Naidu pointed out that Narendra Modi, who started his career as a tea vendor on the railway platform in his childhood, has become Prime Minister of the world’s largest democracy and was striving to transform the country into Digital India. He also said he came from a middle class family and was keen on making Andhra Pradesh as No. 1 in the Digital India.

Earlier, the Chief Minister had a meeting with representatives of APIIC and prominent persons of IT companies. Deputy Chief Minister Nimmakayala China Rajappa, IT & Information Minister Palle Raghunatha Reddy, ministers Chintakayala Ayyanna Patrudu, Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Labour Minister K. Achchennaidu, Women & Child Welfare Minister Peetala Sujata, MPs K. Haribabu, Muthamsetti Srinivasa Rao, Zilla Parishad chairperson Lalam Bhavani, several legislators and officials were present.

The Chief Minister would return to Hyderabad to hold a meeting with bankers in which a decision is likely to be taken on the issue of farmers’ loan waiver. (NSS)
