Naidu wants ban on 500 and 1000 notes to curb black money

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday demanded the Centre to immediately abolishing big currency notes to curb black money. The Chief Minister he reiterated his demand for abolishing currency notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 denominations.

Speaking to media persons at his new office at Velagapudi in Amaravati, the Chief Minister lamented that the corrupt are taking shelter in the garb of politicians.

Naidu said he would be writing a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi demanding abolition big currency notes to curb black money and added that abolishing big currency notes will curb money power during elections. (INN)
