Naidu Vows To Work As Laborer To Develop AP

AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu today reiterated that he would work

as a laborer for development of the State.

Speaking at a felicitation function organized by APNGOs at Vijayawada, Naidu appreciated the role of

APNGOs during agitation for united Andhra Pradesh. He assured the employees that their problems

would be solved in a phased manner and the government would have meeting with employees’

associations once three months. “If we failed to work hardly, future generation would have to face

problems”, he added.

Naidu said his government would withdraw all cases filed against the employees during the agitation

and 80 days of agitation would be treated as leave. Naidu said Andhra Pradesh would be developed into

Swarnandhra Pradesh. “If we get cooperation from the people and employees, the State would emerge

as top State in the country within ten years”, he added.

“It was our good luck the NDA government is there at the Centre and we have appealed to

it to help us in rebuilding of new State of Andhra Pradesh. I am a man to find a solution after facing

problems”. He further stated that he would work like a laborer for the people. Recalling his fight for

united State before bifurcation, Naidu said some people took it easy when I had advocated for equal

justice. During the process of bifurcation of the State, I spent sleepless nights as bifurcation has hurt me

so much that I never faced such a situation in my life”.

Referring to protest against Polavaram project, Naidu said even after protests against Polavaram, the

NDA government is going ahead to do justice to Andhra Pradesh. “We do not have funds and the State

has Rs 15,600 crore deficit budget. We will implement welfare schemes by increasing our revenue in

coming days”, he said, adding that Hyderabad city was developed by hard work during his regime when

he was chief minister of united Andhra Pradesh. The city was developed for Telugu people, Naidu added.
