Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will leave for New Delhi on Saturday to meet Central leaders over the issue of Special Status for the residuary State.
The Chief Minister will participate in the State Cabinet meeting to be held from 9 AM to 11 AM. He will then participate in a programme on Telugu language till 1 PM. Later, he will proceed to national capital where he is likely to meet Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh.
Naidu is likely to discuss with Rajnath Singh over the roadmap for giving Special Status and package for Andhra Pradesh as provisioned in the AP Reorganisaiton Act, 2014. (INN)
