Mr. Mohammed Sirajuddin, President of Congress Minority Cell termed the Muslim Declaration of Mr. N.Chandrabau Naidu as Crocodile tears. He was talking to media men at Gandhi Bhavan yesterday. He pointed out that the budget for Minorities during TDP regime was only
Rs.36 crore but Congress Govt. increased to Rs.490 crore. The minority leaders exerting pressure on Mr. N.Kiran Kumar Reddy for enhancing it further. Mr. Chandrababu Naidu neglected the Minorities and joined hands with BJP during its rule. He also failed to play the role of an opposition leader. Mr. Naidu is dreaming to become C.M. after 2014 elections and hence making lofty promises of allocating Rs.2, 500 crore for Minorities. TDP had said that even 3% reservation is not possible for the Muslims. Now it is declaring to give 10% reservation, which is not possible as per the constitution. Congress is implementing 4% reservation for the Muslims. TDP during its regime constituted Pattu Swamy Commission Govt. spent crores of rupees on this commission. Extensions were given to it many times but it failed to submit its report wakf properties were damaged on a large scale during the TDP Govt. Congress Govt. is implementing Sachar Committee Report and 15 point formula of the Prime Minister for Minorities.
