Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari has condemned the demand of Andhra Pradesh State Cabinet to handover Law and Order powers in Hyderabad to Governor ESL Narasimhan.
Speaking to media persons here on Wednesday, Kadiyam said that the AP Cabinet’s demand was aimed at diverting the people’s attention from the real issue of ‘Cash for Vote’ case. He said instead of admitting that it was him who spoke to nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has been wrongly accusing the Telangana Government of tapping his phone. He reiterated that the Telangana Government did not tap any telephones.
Kadiyam also condemned the allegations of TDP leaders that TRS lured MLAs into its fold by making huge payments. He said all the legislators have joined the TRS with the sole intention of developing their constituencies. He said defections are common in every party and the TDP has been trying to make an issue out of it. (INN)
