Naidu sure of TDP-BJP combine getting massive win in GHMC poll

TDP national president and AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today exuded confidence that the TDP-BJP combine would establish victory in the GHMC elections.

Speaking to the media at NTR Bhavan today, Chandrababu said victory of TDP-BJP combine in GHMC elections was indispensable as this alliance alone was capable of ensuring all-round development of GHMC areas. The people of Hyderabad have confidence in Telugu Desam party as Hyderabad city was developed during the previous TDP regime and boosted growth of IT and with the help of L & T, Hi-Tech city was developed and named the IT corridor as Cyberabad, he explained.

The TDP supremo said the credit for placing Hyderabad in the global investment map goes to his party with the help of Vajpayee government and no other party could stake claim. IT firms in the world moved to Cyberabad after Microsoft opened its office in Cyberabad during TDP rule, Naidu reminded and said Hyderabad look has changed when TDP government constructed 18 flyovers and widened roads for creating infrastructure. The credit for development of Buddha Purnima project and Lumbini park goes to TDP government alone and the Telangana State was getting revenue from Hyderabad.

The AP Chief Minister said he never worked against the interests of Telugu people. He was ready to go and fight for the justice of Telugu people if they faced problems. “Our government constructed and developed a greenfield airport in 5,000 acres at Shamshabad and I had visited various countries and sought investments in Hyderabad”, Chandrababu Naidu said, adding that Hyderabad city economically strengthened and it became a tourist centre. Though some leaders changed their loyalties, but his party has a strong cadre in Hyderabad, Naidu asserted.
