Naidu Stalled Process Of T State Formation: Harish

TRS senior leader and Siddipet MLA T. Harish Rao on Monday said they were not taking TDP Chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s marathon into consideration.

Speaking to the media here, Harish Rao alleged that Chandrababu Naidu created a hurdle for Telangana State by objecting to the Centre’s positive statement on Telangana statehood, which was the result of the hunger strike of TRS Chief K Chandrasekhara Rao. He alleged that now Chandrababu Naidu was on the padayatra with active support of gundas. The people of Telangana region has the right to know the stand of Chandrababu Naidu on Telangana statehood, he opined.

Harish Rao said the people of the region would definitely stall YSRCP leader Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, his sister Sharmila, and Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and TDP president Chandrababu Naidu if they stepped into Telangana region. He dubbed both the YSR Congress party and TDP as protagonists of United Andhra Pradesh. He felt that the letter written to the Centre by Chandrababau Naidu on Telangana was useless like a waste paper. Stating that Telangana TDP leaders were not in favour of formation of separate Telangana State, Harish said they were falsely claiming that Telangana State would come into being if Chandrababu Naidu returned to power. He also alleged that Telangana TDP leaders — Mothkupalli Narsimhulu and Errabelli Dayakar Rao were eagerly waiting for minister posts if TDP comes back to power in the State. He demanded that Chandrababu Naidu set his foot in the Telangana region only after making his stand clear on separate Telangana State.

Dubbing Telangana ministers’ Delhi tour as purely political, he said they would prepare an agitation action plan after Dasara festival targeting the Congress party. The Delhi tour of Telangana ministers also exposed the disunity among them. He said they would put a full stop to the consultations and discussions with leaders at Delhi level. (NSS)
