Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandraababu Naidu should leave Hyderabad and start ruling from Vijayawada by shifting, if he cannot rule from here, TRS Nizamabad MP K Kavitha said today.
Talking to press persons here after taking membership of the TRS, she demanded an apology from Naidu for insulting Telangana people by comparing Hyderabad to foreign countries. Quoting his remarks Kavitha reprimanded Chandrababu for stating that “Ruling Andhra Pradesh from Hyderabad is like that of ruling from any other foreign country”. She sought immediate withdrawal of such comments that hurt the sentiments of the Telangana people. The TRS leader questioned the morale of Naidu who claims to have built Hitech city, in comparing Hyderabad to a foreign country. Naidu should quit Hyderabad for Vijayawada, if he does not like to stay here, she said.
Kavitha flayed Naidu for stating that Telugu Desam Party will come to power in both the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh in 2019 general elections. How can AP Chief Minister say that the TDP will come to power in Telangana, she thundered. Hyderabad cannot be available to the people of both the states in the wake of bifurcation, she said. Kavitha’s comments came at a time when Naidu expressed his plan to shift to new capital for smooth and easy governance as doing so from Hyderabad is not easy. Chandrababu reportedly stated this with his officials and staff on the need for immediate shifting over to Vijayawada and Guntur.(NSS)
