Naidu refuses treatment – Doctors say no chance in his condition

Hyderabad, December22: The TDP Chief Mr Nara Chandrababu Naidu, who was on fast for the last six days, refused to withdraw his fast even though his family members requested him to give up the fast as his health condition was deteriorating very fast.

On Wednesday, Mr Naidu’s wife Ms Bhuvaneshwari, Cine actor and nephew of Mr Naidu, Mr Taraka Rathna too visited the NIMS hospital and later they said that his uncle was refusing to give up the fast. Mr Taraka Rathna said that his uncle was firmly saying that he was ready to give up his life for the sake of farmers’.

The TDP senior leader Mr Ummareddy Venkateshwarlu, after visiting Mr Naidu, has said that Mr Naidu was not accepting to withdraw his hunger strike.

The Health Minister Dr D L Ravindra Reddy said that the doctors would shift Mr Naidu to intensive care unit and added that the government would conduct an all party meeting if Mr Naidu gave up his fast. He made it clear that the doctors would follow the Court directions while giving treatment to Mr Naidu.

In the evening, the Doctors attending on Mr Naidu said that there was no change in his health condition, and Mr Naidu was refusing to take any sort of treatment. The doctors would examine him again tomorrow morning, they said.
