TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday promised to develop Visakhapatnam as the country’s second economic capital after Mumbai.
Addressing the Praja Garjana meeting here, Naidu said that Vizag has a strong potential to emerge as the economic hub of the country. Therefore, he said he would develop the city as the IT, tourists and economic hub if his party comes to power in Seemandhra in ensuing general elections. He claimed that he developed Hyderabad and brought it global recognition during his tenure as the Chief Minister. Similarly, he said that Visakhapatnam would be developed on similar lines.
Naidu accused the Congress party of hurting the self-respect and prestige of Telugu people. He said that people should punish the Congress party in next elections. He also slammed YSRCP Jagan Mohan Reddy and accused him of secretly supporting the Congress party. He hoped that the TDP would come to power in both Telangana and Seemandhra. “It will be one-sided election in favour of TDP in both the regions,” he claimed.
Naidu also listed out achievements of TDP Government in the past and also spelled out his plans for each section of the society if his party wins the next elections. He appealed to the people to vote for the TDP to get justice. (INN)
