Naidu promises to appoint a Muslim as AP Council Chairman

Hyderabad: Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh N Chandrababu Naidu announced that the post of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council Chairman will be given to a Muslim. He told this while bidding farewell to the pilgrims of Hajj 2017 of AP in Amravati.

Speaking to press persons he said, he was bound to uplift Muslims in political, economic and educational fields. He said establishment of Urdu University in Kurnool was the living example of upliftment of Muslims in education. He also announced that Hajj Houses would be constructed in two cities of the states; Kadapa and Vijayawada.
