Marking the 124th birthday anniversary of social reformer, jurist, scholar and politician Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu paid floral tributes to him today.
Recalling that Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar was a veritable phenomenon of the 20th century in India, he said Dr. Ambedkar became a fierce campaigner against social discrimination of people in the society. His sterling contributions to India continue to remain exemplary. “He was the principal architect of our Constitution,” the Chief Minister said.
Despite coming from the annals of struggle, he scaled heights in leadership and statesmanship, the Chief Minister said, adding he eventually became the “voice of the voiceless” in the society. (INN)
